Is there a meal plan?
The Relentless Woman is opposed to rigid meal plans. We believe they set women up for long-term failure and though they can provide structure that many women think they want, eventually it can feel like a prison. That's not what we're going for! We want to help you learn how to enjoy your favorite foods while still pursuing your fitness goals. It can be done! And more importantly, you can do it!
What is the nutrition like?
It's simple. Not easy, but simple. You'll set a calorie goal based on our custom nutrition calculator that is based on the widely accepted Miffline St. Jeor equation, and you'll have a daily protein goal. That's it! We've found that counting macros, while effective, is overwhelming and unnecessary to make great progress. We've found this simplified method to be highly effective and easy to follow, because no foods are off limits.
What if I don't want to lose weight?
Many women join the No Off Season Challenge without a weight loss goal. They're here for the camaraderie, energy, and to avoid gaining moreso than focusing on fat loss. Whatever your personal goals are, we're here to help you achieve them. The grand prize is based on overall transformation. All other prizes throughout the challenge are based on participating, pushing yourself, and helping others.
How do you determine the Challenge winner?
A panel of judges selects the grand prize winner based on the best overall transformation using only before and after photos, not pounds or inches lost. The judges' decisions are final. Individual decisions will not be released.
What if I can't do one of the exercises?
Bad back? Bum knee? No problem? Message your trainer through the app and she will be happy to recommend an alternative exercise so you can still get an awesome workout without aggravating an injury.
Do I have to participate in the FB group?
That's where the good stuff happens. That's where all the mini-challenges, weekly prizes, leaderboard updates, and more happen. That's where we connect, get to know each other, vent when we're discouraged, and celebrate each other's successes. You won't find a more supportive community of women anywhere on the internet!
What are the workouts like?
The strength training workouts are five days a week and will take approximately twenty minutes to complete. In addition to the strength training sessions, you will have a step goal that will increase incrementally throughout the challenge.
Do I have to use the app?
We highly recommend using the app for the challenge. You will need it to access your workouts, track your progress, and contact your trainer. Don't worry - it's very user-friendly!
